Moongazing!!!

Our third graders have begun a study of the Sun, Moon, and Stars. We are beginning with a study of the moon. Did you know that there are 8 different moon phases and than those phases take 28 days to complete? We are checking out the moon every night and recording what it looks like on our Moon Calendar. We will continue to update the calendar through the end of February.
There is a website where you can see exactly what the moon looks like every night.
First, go to:

Click on "What the moon looks like now"
You should then see a beautiful live picture of the moon! Isn't that cool?
